Laminex New Zealand presents Future Vision
In mid-November members of the design community in Auckland, Queenstown and Christchurch gathered to experience Future Vision, the latest in trend and colour forecasting by Laminex NZ. Taking cues from design and trade shows across the globe, the Fletcher Building Laminates and Panels global design team is responsible for the Future Vision forecast which focuses on the three key trends to affect the industry every two years.
Delivered by the Global Vice President of Design, Renee Hytry Derrington, over 225 architects and designers were inspired by the presentation, which also offered the opportunity to earn valuable CPD points.
This exciting project has been developed as an extension of an ongoing trend forecasting series focusing on three themes – Personal Sanctuary, Spectral and Smart Organic. With trends that focus on the global movement towards the hand-made, organic and sustainable, Future Vision presents the materials, textures and colours that are set to have big impact in 2016 and beyond.
